Very friendly and efficient, when the need to extend arouse, Caroline was always friendly and accomodating. Foster (Nov 06) We bought an investment property in QLD 2 years ago. Our first year of renting our property out was with a different agent. We were extremely frustrated with this real estate and the level of customer service they provided. We had previously been told that it was hard to get a good agency and that we should just settle for that group. I refused and decided to look after the leasing myself. I did this for about 6 months until it all went pear shaped and out tenants stopped paying their rent. It was hard for us to manage as we live in NSW. We were extremely frustrated and thinking about selling the property. My mum suggested that we contact Maddies as she had dealt with them previously on a rental property. I called Narelle that afternoon and passed on our property, that had bad tenants, rent due, needed site inspections and maintenance reporting. Within the week we had new tenants, our rent was up to date, we had an up to date report on what needed to be done in the house and we felt very reassured that we were in good hands. Since then our experience only continues to get better with them. We get our monthly accounts emailed (which is great as they arrive at work and are always handy), we have had photos sent to us of our property to show how it is looking ( we haven't seen our property since we bought it so this was fantastic), Narelle continues to manage us in an extremely professional manner (she always returns calls/emails the same day AND she does what she says she is going to do). I have spoken to other friends with investment properties and I know that finding a good agent is like finding gold and we feel like we struck gold with Maddies. Doyle As I live and rent in two different cities the process of finding an agent was done via internet. I emailed Maddies, and they promptly emailed back all the information I Needs with competitive rates of commission. Narelle then met me at the rental house at the time I stipulated, as time was of the essence for me due to distance. A tenant was found I think within the first week, and things have been running smoothly ever since. But to me important factors which I believe Maddies have are: 1. Prompt response to my queries 2. Friendly staff 3. Efficient staff, able to problem solve 4. Constant rent coming in, without large outlays 5.
